PanelHost terms of use
This English version is a courtesy translation. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Acceptance
By installing or using PanelHost you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What PanelHost is
PanelHost is an Android app that runs a web server, a PHP interpreter and a database server on your own device, and lets you manage them. GNApps does not host your sites and has no access to them: everything runs and is stored on your device.
3. License
You are granted a free, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the app on your devices, for personal or professional purposes, provided they are lawful. You may not resell the app or present it as your own.
4. Third-party software
PanelHost includes free software programs—among them nginx, Apache HTTP Server, PHP, MariaDB, phpMyAdmin, curl and cloudflared—each under its own license. Those licenses, and not these terms, govern the use of those programs. You can read them, along with links to their source code, in the app: Settings → Licenses and source code.
5. Your content and your responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- The content you host and publish, and for holding the necessary rights to it.
- The software you install on your sites, such as WordPress and its themes and plugins.
- The security of your device, your network and your passwords, and the consequences of exposing a site to the internet.
- Making backups. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes your sites and databases.
- Complying with applicable laws and with your internet provider's terms.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use PanelHost to host or distribute illegal content, malware or unsolicited mail, to infringe third-party rights, or to attack or gain unauthorized access to other systems.
7. Third-party services
Some features depend on services outside GNApps: downloading WordPress from wordpress.org and Cloudflare tunnels. Their availability and terms depend on their providers; GNApps does not control them or guarantee that they work.
8. No warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. There is no guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors, or that it is fit for a particular purpose. A mobile device is not a production server: the system may stop the app, and the connection or the battery may fail.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GNApps will not be liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of income or service interruptions arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing above limits the rights that consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.
10. Changes
The app and these terms may change. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of [PENDING: city and state], unless the law provides otherwise in favor of the consumer.
