PanelHost privacy policy
This English version is a courtesy translation. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
Summary
PanelHost collects no personal data, has no user accounts, shows no ads and includes no analytics or tracking tools. The developer receives no data from the app.
Data stored on your device
Everything you create with PanelHost is stored only on your device: your sites' files, your databases, the configuration and the passwords the app generates (databases, SFTP and web administration). This data is not sent to the developer or to third parties. If you uninstall the app, it is deleted.
Network connections
The app opens servers on your device only when you switch them on, and shows it with a persistent notification. Anyone who can reach your device over the network will be able to see the sites you publish; the content of those sites is your responsibility.
PanelHost connects to the internet on its own only in these cases, always at your request:
- Installing WordPress: it downloads WordPress from wordpress.org.
- Public link or tunnel: if you turn it on, that site's traffic goes through the servers of Cloudflare, Inc., under its own terms and privacy policy. It is off by default.
The software you install on your sites (for example, WordPress and its plugins) may make its own connections; PanelHost does not control them.
Permissions
- Camera: only to scan the QR code that grants access to web administration. Images are neither stored nor sent.
- Notifications and foreground service: to keep the server running with the screen off and let you know it is on.
- Run at startup: to start the server automatically when the device boots, if you set it up that way.
- Internet and network state: to serve your sites and show the device's address on your network.
Children
PanelHost is a technical tool aimed at adults and is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this same page with its date.
