Android apps that do one thing and do it well

GNApps is the personal project of an independent developer. Technical tools, with no ads and no account required.

Apps

Four apps, four specific problems

Turn your Android into a web server: nginx or Apache, PHP, MariaDB databases, SFTP, WordPress and public links with HTTPS.

A DNS filter that runs inside your own phone: it blocks malicious domains, encrypts your queries and shows you where your apps connect.

An unofficial viewer for the DramaFren site: it remembers the episode and minute where you stopped, and you swipe to change episodes.

Get back the videos you posted yourself: paste the link, pick the quality and they are saved to your phone. The whole process happens on the device.

How they are made

No analytics and no tracking. What you create with the app lives on your device.

Install, open and use. No sign-ups and no screens that get in the way.

Every app is tested on devices running Android 13 and Android 16 before release, and its page says what it does and what it doesn't.

Questions, bugs or suggestions about any of the apps: send a direct message to u/GNAppsMX on Reddit.
